La Forêt de l’Âme gently explores the quiet interaction of nature, spirit, and the inner world — a return to a forest we carry, but rarely enter.

At its heart, La Forêt de l’Âme reflects the fragile relationship between the natural world and the inner one — how the neglect of wildlife, ecosystems, and what is vanishing often mirrors the ways we turn away from parts of ourselves: our instincts, our emotions, our realities.

The pieces are layered with small, quiet details that reveal themselves to those meant to notice. Some are visible, others remain tucked within the figurative. Viewers are invited to look slowly, to feel before they reason, and to find meaning that is entirely their own.

At the forefront of this exhibition are none other than birds—creatures respected, some feared, across cultures, histories, and spiritual beliefs as divine messengers, harbingers of change, and discernful guides. From the bearer of peace to the forewarners of disaster, birds have long served as humanity’s watchful companions on the cusps between worlds.

In a time when extinction moves quietly and quickly, this exhibition becomes a quiet call — to notice, to remember, and to care. Nature does not need us to endure—but we, without her, will one day find ourselves lost in the silence we once ignored. What disappears from the world and within often begins by going unseen and unheard.
