Packed with the symbols and themes of Schiaparelli both figuratively and literally, ‘il segreto del sole’ captures the essence of Elsa, Daniel, and the House in a combined theme of Alchemy.

Influenced by Elsa Schiaparelli's interest in mysticism and esotericism, visible in her designs with elements inspired by astrology, tarot, and other mystical symbols, the Maison’s recurring motifs of the human anatomy and astronomy, and Daniel Roseberry's Fall/Winter 2017 where nature and surrealism was explored, the practice of alchemy was chosen. Alchemy incorporates elements of mysticism, symbolism, and early chemistry, aiming to uncover the secrets of the universe and achieve profound transformation.

Taking this approach, this concept implies that the crafting of Schiaparelli’s ‘Anatomy Jewelry Bag’ was made with alchemy. Carefully and precisely crafted yet infused with creativity and experimentation, Schiaparelli brings their ‘Anatomy Jewelry Bag’ to life.
